Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated · DUPLE.AI LLC

On this page

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service between you and DUPLE.AI LLC ("Duple," "we" or "us"). It applies to everything you do with the Service: your prompts, files and other Inputs, the Outputs you generate, and how you use them. It is not a complete list of what is prohibited; we may act on any use that we believe is harmful, even if it is not listed here.

1. Follow the law and the model providers' rules

You must comply with all laws and regulations that apply to you and to your use of the Service. You must also comply with the usage policies of the AI Model Providers whose models you use (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI and Perplexity), which apply in addition to this policy. Where those policies are stricter, the stricter rule applies.

2. Prohibited content and activities

You may not use the Service to create, request, upload, store or share, or to help anyone else with, any of the following:

Harm to children

  • Child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualizes, grooms or exploits minors. We have zero tolerance: we will terminate the account and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement.

Violence and dangerous activities

  • Threats, incitement or glorification of violence; content supporting terrorism or violent extremism.
  • Developing, producing or using weapons, including biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological weapons, explosives, or instructions for causing mass harm.
  • Content that promotes, encourages or gives instructions for suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
  • Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or any non-consensual sexual content.

Abuse of people

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, stalking or defamation.
  • Content that attacks or demeans people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or another protected characteristic.
  • Sexual or intimate images of real people without their consent, including synthetic or altered images ("deepfakes").
  • Impersonating a real person or organization in order to deceive, or creating images, audio or text that falsely depict a real person.

Privacy

  • Collecting, compiling or disclosing personal information about others without a lawful basis, including doxxing, covert tracking and surveillance.
  • Facial recognition, biometric identification, or inferring sensitive characteristics (such as health, sexual orientation or political views) about specific people.
  • Processing anyone's sensitive personal information (such as health, financial, biometric or government identification data) without all notices and consents the law requires.

Fraud, deception and illegal goods

  • Scams, phishing, fraud, identity theft, forgery, money laundering or other financial crime.
  • Spam, fake reviews, fake engagement, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
  • Disinformation intended to deceive the public, including about elections, voting or public health.
  • Buying, selling or facilitating illegal drugs, weapons, or other illegal goods or services.
  • Presenting AI output as human-written or as professional work where the law, or the rules of a school, employer, publisher or platform, require disclosure.

Security

  • Creating or distributing malware, ransomware, exploits or other malicious code.
  • Gaining or attempting unauthorized access to any system, account or data, including through credential stuffing or social engineering.

Intellectual property

  • Infringing, misappropriating or violating anyone's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity or other rights. See our Copyright Policy.

High-risk decisions

  • Using Outputs as the sole basis for decisions about a person's eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, healthcare, legal status or government benefits, or for any other decision with legal or similarly significant effects, without meaningful human review and all disclosures the law requires.
  • Providing medical, legal, financial or other regulated professional services to others based on Outputs without appropriate professional oversight and licensing.

3. Prohibited use of the platform

You may not:

  • circumvent, disable or interfere with credits, payments, rate limits, usage limits, spending safeguards, content filters, safety systems or access controls, or exploit a bug or error to obtain credits or access (report it to us instead);
  • create multiple accounts to evade limits, a suspension or a ban, or use another person's account;
  • share, sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise provide access to your account or the Service to anyone else, or offer it as part of another product or service, without our written permission;
  • access the Service through bots, scrapers, scripts or other automated means, or use it to send automated requests at scale, except through features we provide;
  • use "jailbreaks," prompt injection or other techniques to bypass the safety measures of the Service or of a Model Provider;
  • use the Service or any Output to develop, train or improve AI models or services that compete with Duple or any Model Provider, or to extract model weights, system prompts or training data;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or copy the Service, except to the extent that this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • probe, scan, load-test or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written permission, or disrupt, overload or impair it; or
  • upload anything containing viruses or other harmful code, or that you do not have the right to upload.

4. Reporting security issues

If you find a vulnerability, report it privately to support@duple.ai with the subject "Security." Do not access, modify or delete other users' data, do not disrupt the Service, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue before disclosing it.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate any suspected violation. If we believe you have violated this policy, we may, at our discretion and without notice: refuse or block a request; remove or disable content; limit features; suspend or terminate your account without refund; forfeit your credits; and report the activity to law enforcement, Model Providers, payment processors or other appropriate parties. We may use automated tools to detect violations, and Model Providers may independently refuse requests. Our decision not to act on a violation does not waive our right to act on it or on any other violation.

6. Reporting abuse

To report content or behavior that you believe violates this policy, email support@duple.ai with the subject "Abuse Report" and as much detail as you can.
